Madeline Hobbie, O.D.

Madeline Hobbie, O.D., received her Doctor of Optometry from Indiana University in 2021 and earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Indiana University in 2017. She was a member of the Indiana University Optometric Student Association, Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity, and President of the Sports Vision Club.

She is currently a member of the Indiana Optometric Association and American Optometric Association. Dr. Hobbie specializes in family eye care, contact lenses, post-operative care, and ocular diseases such as retinopathy, macular degeneration, glaucoma, and dry eye.

She says eye health is so important because it tells us about our overall health and can help in diagnosing systemic conditions. Dr. Hobbie says her favorite part about being an OD is seeing the joy on a patient's face when they put on their new glasses or contact lenses and can see the world clearly again.

She loves getting to know each patient and helping them to understand their eye health better. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and two German Shepherds, cheering on Indiana University, playing sand volleyball, boating, and scuba diving.
